ViewSonic has been active in presenting us their latest machines for their 2009 releases. Most of these machines are laptops and tablets but today, ViewSonic is presenting us their own version of a portable media player which they are naming as ViewSonic MovieBook VPD400 PMP.

This portable media player device called MovieBook VPD400 is an ideal machine to use if you’re opting to watch high definition videos and movies. Measuring just about 4.4 x 3.0 x 0.5 inches and weighs at 140 grams, the MovieBook VPD 400 is equipped with a 4.3 inch display screen that gives 800 x 480 pixels resolution. This also includes 8GB of flash memory and supports microSD memory cards for storage expansion. Aside from these, it also supports several video formats including AVI, MPG, FLV, H.264, H.263, MOV, VOD, etc. For your audio files, this device can prop up MP3, WAV, OGG, WMA, APE, and FLAC. You can also use this machine to view photos with file types of BMP, GIF, JPEG, and PNG.

The ViewSonic MovieBook VPD400 PMP is now available at select online stores such as Amazon. They are offering this for a tag of $119.99.
