Sony has launched the Vaio E series as an expansion of its Vaio notebook collection. The Sony Vaio E series features a 15.5 inch screen, a 2.26 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 500 GB hard drive.

The other specifications of the Sony Vaio E series include an ATI Mobility Radeon HD graphics, a DVD burner, three USB ports and E-SATA port, an additional of integrated web camera, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.

The Sony Vaio E series will be available in a variety of color – brown, pink, silver and green – it will also come with a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

The Sony Vaio E series notebooks will be available in March 2010 with process that starts at $800 and Sony will also be adding further options with different processors later on.
