MSI has been strengthening its notebook catalog over the last few months. It unveiled the CR720 Theater PC not long ago and the company has now unveiled some new notebooks in the 16 and 15.6-inch range in a new CR600/620 family. It seems like HP is intending to price its Slate Windows 7 Tablet more competitively than Apple’s new iPad, as details have been leaked that the mentioned tablet will come with 3G and will have similar specifications than that of the 3G iPad, but it looks like it will cost less than the $629 Apple will be charging for their 3G iPad.

HP executives are meeting up over the next few weeks to finalize the pricing details and it will be interesting to see how much cheaper the HP slate is than the Apple iPad.

Samsung has a number of netbooks and notebooks that sells. The matte screen N220 netbook unveiled in December 2009. Samsung is getting ready to unveil a new netbook later this year that runs the Google Chrome OS.
