The Dell Adamo XPS obtains the concept to another level as Dell’s thinnest ultra-portable. With measurement of 9.99mm, the Adamo XPS is so thin that it makes the claims of the original Adamo and Apple MacBook Air almost absurd. In the end, though, that is all it is — a system of unquestionable style, with a very minimalist approach to performance and features.

The Adamo XPS is creativity at its leading-edge best, an engaging design that separates it from the merely functional. The Adamo XPS wrapped completely in aluminum metals, the system measures just 0.4 inches throughout. It has a 13.3-by-10.7-by-0.4 inches (HWD) dimensions, though, are a bit deceiving. The Adamo…

Intel has also launched the Atom N455 and Atom N475.  The two variant chips are obviously based on the 1.66GHz N450 and 1.83GHz N470 processors, although apparently it has added in support for DDR3 memory.

Intel is yet to even update their Atom site with the N470 so there is unsurprisingly no sign of the N455 or N475.  It is possible that the company did not intend to make the chips public at present; it is common for Intel to work with ASUS, Acer, MSI and other manufacturers ahead of launch and the netbook firms to merely say “Atom powered” until the new chip gets official.

According to the earlier rumors, the…
