LG has launched a new netbook at this year’s CES – the LG X300 – which is incredibly thin measuring in at just 17.6 mm thick and weighing for just 970 g.

The LG X300 features an 11.6 inch LCD display and it is based on a 2.0 GHz Intel Menlow platform with an Intel Atom Z550 processor 2 GB of RAM and an SSD drive for storage.

Other specifications of LG X300 include a 1.3 megapixel web camera, a built in 3G modem, WiFi and a two cell battery which is reported to give an impressive seven hours of usage.

LG is introducing us three rigs from their anthology of XPION Desktop PCs which includes the S30NP.AR5701, T30KN.ARE701, and A30MF.ARE701. LG is launching another set of notebooks which they are presenting here today as the LG Widebook Notebooks. This new set of notebooks includes five models which they named as the R380, R460, R480, R560, and R580. All of these models are provided with a 16:9 widescreen display.
