The Dell Adamo XPS obtains the concept to another level as Dell’s thinnest ultra-portable. With measurement of 9.99mm, the Adamo XPS is so thin that it makes the claims of the original Adamo and Apple MacBook Air almost absurd. In the end, though, that is all it is — a system of unquestionable style, with a very minimalist approach to performance and features.

The Adamo XPS is creativity at its leading-edge best, an engaging design that separates it from the merely functional. The Adamo XPS wrapped completely in aluminum metals, the system measures just 0.4 inches throughout. It has a 13.3-by-10.7-by-0.4 inches (HWD) dimensions, though, are a bit deceiving. The Adamo…

The Dell Inspiron i1464-4382OBK is a well-balanced, mainstream laptop that should hold wide plea for Staples shoppers scrutinizing the shelves for a modern, versatile laptop. Its 14-inch display and sub-five-pound weight mean the laptop is big enough for use as your primary computer and light enough for daily travel.

The Inspiron i1464-4382OBK sports the new Core i3 processor and integrated Intel GMA HD graphics. It does not propose blazing performance, although it is competitive among similarly-priced laptops and should stand the test of time better than a model based on older technology.

The Inspiron i1464-4382OBK’s merely average battery life won’t help the laptop win any converts, but there are ways to fix…

If you think that WiMAX is the future, but just cannot deal with that USB attachment ruining the sleek looks of your netbook, worry not.

Dell’s Mini 10 has dropped by the FCC for a repeat visit – only this time it is sporting a built-in WiMAX module. It is an otherwise unmodified version of Round Rock’s latest and greatest 10-incher. Sprint might have some retail space for these units when they arrive, given that the wireless carrier already offers the 3G-equipped Mini 10 on a subsidized basis and will be keen to offer a similar product to its expanding WiMAX clientelle.

The unit that has the built-in WiMAX is Dell Inspiron…

The Nvidia GeForce GT 335M found in the M11x is not a high end, desktop-grade graphics chip, but it is in the upper end of what would be considered ‘mid-range’ and Dell says it can get a score of over 6,100 in the gaming-oriented 3DMark 06 benchmark.
