
As the Winter Olympics is approaching any time soon and winter sports are more frequently been played on television. Acer has decided to get in the winter sports and Olympic spirit by introducing the release of the special edition notebook that is specifically for the Olympic games.
The notebooks will Acer’s representation with its involvement in the Olympic games.
Acer is offering the Olympic editions of several of their notebooks that include the Acer Aspire 1810T, 4810T and the G245H LCD.
The Olympic edition notebooks will feature the famous Olympic logo located on the lid of the computer as well as the palm rest area. Each notebook on the Olympic edition will still have the same specifications.
Acer is going to be contributing to the Olympic games by providing over 6000 pieces of computer equipment to the games along with 100 technicians and engineers to support the technological management of the Olympic games.
The most popular Olympic game edition notebook will be the Aspire Timeline 1810TZ. It’s an 11.6-inch laptop that offers features such as Windows 7 home premium, over eight hours of battery life, a DVD super Multilayer double drive, Intel graphics media accelerator, and 1.3 GHz dual core SU4100 processor. The computer weighs a little over 3 pounds.
There is no word yet when the notebooks will be on the market but they will be available for pre-order. A notebook costs at least $550.
